The development is a 15 acre site at a highly visible and well traveled intersection of State Route 55 and the Taconic Parkway.
The fitness facility is 20,360 square feet and is served by 163 parking spaces. The total building development area is 34,450 square feet for potential mixed use tenants including a bank, office space and retail space. (as shown to the left)
The location of the Planet Fitness occupies the most flexible part of the site in terms of footprint options at a scale appropriate to the tenant. It is also placed at the terminus of a the primary access drive serving the site, further cementing the buildings status as the primary tenant in T aconic Center.
Earthwork solutions and the utility for the overall development were laid out in a manner so that Phase I construction sets up flexible opportunities to construct the remaining building pads in either separate or combined construction phases.
Planet Fitness is complete and opened for business in the Spring of 2011.
