A national developer approached LRC to design a retail power center with a mixed use component on this large parcel of land that combined retail, office, residential, and recreational facilities. In the design process, the municipality expressed interest in permitting the relocation of an existing road on site that permitted additional flexibility in design.
The plan below conceptualizes two large retail pods—one anchored by a Lowe’s Home Improvement Store and the other by a Super Wal-Mart. In addition, a residential and hospitality component was in- cluded at the client’s request. Lastly, a new YMCA facility with outdoor recreational fields was located on site creating a harmonious blend of all the desired elements.
