Hess Station – Hyde Park, NY

LRC worked with the Hess Corporation to redevelop an existing station into a new updated Hess Express Station.  LRC worked with Hess and the Town of Hyde Park to locate and place the proposed buildings to avoid impacting the adjacent stream.  As an additional design precaution two Rain Gardens were added to the final storm water runoff to provide a last level of storm water treatment.  The revised site plan required additional parking spaces and a new Hess Express building to fit on a small site constrained by wetlands and NYSDEC classified Streams.  The project had been completed and the site opened in December of 2011.
